Cercando fra le varie pubblicazioni a caccia dei nomi dei Geni e delle divinità minori, mi sono imbattuto in un interessante articolo di Ramadan El-Sayed sull'entità Nehaher. A parte il contenuto molto accademico e ben strutturato (Bifao081s_art_12.pdf) ho trovato curioso un elenco di nomi relativi al "volto" di alcuni geni, dei, ed altre entità. Si direbbe che "faccia da...." sia un epiteto numeroso e molto utilizzato!!! Ho ritenuto utile fare una rapida traduzione dal francese per permettere a tutti di usufruirne.

Mi ricordo di aver letto, parecchio tempo fa, che il volto di Horus era temuto dai nemici perche' il suo famigerato occhio era capace di uccidere all'istante; purtroppo non mi ricordo proprio dove l'ho letto, ma sembrerebbe avere senso.

Ho ritrovato un passo di Wallis Budge che pbblicai in un mini-diario di Deir el Haggar. http://www.egittologia.net/portals/0/Articoli_pubblici/EGY-Deir%20El%20Haggar_ADV.pdf Dai contenuti mi sembra che Horus (sotto la forma di disco alato in questo caso) abbia sempre avuto un effetto "terrificante" sui nemici.  L'osservazione quindi mi sembra estremamente calzante!
